Network Implementation Engineer

The Network Implementation Engineer has the technical responsibility for the client’s network environment, for implementation and change tasks, projects, providing technical network skills to the delivery centers and the Customers.
 

Responsibilies:

  • Manage and implement NW changes as part of a project implementation or execute NW normal, non-standard and routine changes (LAN, WAN and Security)
  • Perform various NW migrations or new device implementations (SW, Routers, LoadBalancers, Firewalls, VPN devices, …)
  • From a technical perspective you will work with TCP/IP, Security, LAN, WAN – devices and technologies: VLAN routing, VTP, Spanning Tree, BGP, MPLS, ISDN, VPN, SSL, HSRP, Cisco, HP ProCurve, Nokia, Checkpoint firewall, Alcatel, 3Com, Blade, FWSM, Nortel VPN concetrators, Juniper, CISCO ASA, Wireless, F5 Big IP, CISCO LB, ACE, CSS, Foundry,  Zeus, CSM,  WAN accelerators, IDS/IPS, …)
  • Anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality, adapts to new technology & understands complex infrastructures
  • Strictly follows Move to Production (M2P) process including to check that tools and documentation are up to date
Requirements:
  • Experience in IT operations and Network operations min. 2+ year
  • Cisco Certification CCNA, CCNP or equivalent experience, CCDA or CCDP is an advantage
  • Knowledge of CISCO, HPN products – switches and routers is required 
  • Knowledge of CheckPoint and CISCO firewalls
  • Experience in troubleshooting a broad range of network technologies 
  • Fluent English is a must 
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse and multi-cultural environments
  • Ability to communicate and present in a effective way
  • Team player: Ability and willingness to motivate and support others
  • Strong consulting skills, flexibility and resourcefulness
  • Ability to meet deadlines
