Security Analyst

As a Security Analyst, your work will focus on understanding risks to the security of information or data.
 
Responsibilities:
Information security analysts support the front-line defence of networks, protecting information from unauthorised access and violations. They do this by analysing and assessing potential security risks, developing plans to deal with such incidents by putting measures in place such as firewalls and encryption, monitoring and auditing systems for abnormal activity, and executing corrective actions.
Analyst will have following technologies under support:
  • Single Authentication Broker – Trustbuilder 8.0 (SecurIT)
  • Tivoli identity manager
  • HSM PKI certificate management
  • Secure FTP Gateway Operation
  • Symantec for NAS
  • PKI services – AD internal certificate services
  • Vulnerability scanning takeover
  • Customer is has Tripwire IP 360
  • Symantec SIEM solution
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and telephony skills
  • Good communication skills and customer centric focus – ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all customers, partners and users, internal and external
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Team player. Ability to collaborate and negotiate with members of team and members of other teams
  • Understanding of 24×7 mission critical enterprise computing environments and the impact of service disruption on a company’s bottom line
  • Keen interest in continual learning and professional development
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks, problems and requests in a high pressure environment
  • Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in an international and culturally diverse organization
  • High ethical standards
  • Fluent in English language
Technical skills:
  • Deep technical knowledge of Information Security software tools and technology
  • Knowledge of network technology in regards of security aspects
  • Knowledge of commonly used operating systems in regards of security aspects
  • Understand and apply Information Security policies and standards
  • Ability to effectively coordinate schedules, follow up on action items and manage plans
  • Good understanding of information technology process flow, logging, monitoring, application interfaces, network connectivity
